Our Mission

The University Center supports the educational mission by providing quality services and facilities, a sense of place, and an interactive “living room of the University.” Serving students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests, the University Center is committed to student development and learning, civic engagement and discourse, multiculturalism, healthy living, and sustainability.

We’re Building a New Student Union!

The new Student Union will occupy the same space as the current University Center, as well as the space occupied by the UC Garage and several buildings along Volunteer Boulevard. It will be constructed in two phases, minimizing service interruptions for the University community. For information and updates regarding the project, including tips on navigating around the construction site, visit the Cone Zone.
